Information on the Admissions Lottery
To participate in the lottery, students must meet all six of the following admissions requirements:
Must be a girl entering the fifth grade in the fall of 2023. For sixth-grade admission, see below.*
Resident of Lawrence, MA
Applicant’s family must meet household income requirements that fall within or below the income eligibility guidelines for Federal reduced price meals.
Provide a copy of your parents’ most recent W-2 and 1040 (tax return) forms. If your family does not file taxes, we require any other supporting income verification documents, such as: SSI, DTA, workers compensation, etc.
Provide 3rd and 4th (current) grade report cards.
Applicants must have a supportive adult who is actively committed to her academic and social success, and who will be willing to become an active member of our Esperanza community.
* Admissions for sixth-grade students. In the event that a fifth-grade student vacates her seat at the Academy at the end of the current school year, a sixth-grade slot may become available. Please contact the school to learn more about sixth-grade admission.

Please register in advance to reserve your space. Our Open Houses will take place in-person on our school campus at 198 Garden St. in Lawrence, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.
