Key Priorities for Community

  • Developing a safe entry/exit plan for students & faculty members each day

  • Implement daily practices for sanitation practices

  • Implement policies/practices for daily triage of students/faculty

  • Develop contingency plans for institutional shutdown

  • Institute daily practices for joy for both students/faculty

  • Establish a crisis response plan for all Esperanza constituents

  • Utilize restorative practices with students and with adults to build community and trust, explore options, value individual voices, and resolve differences. Allow for time with Cynthia if needed

  • Provide space for worship/prayer. Allow for time with Padre Angel

  • Communicate clearly, current, timely communication to the appropriate constituents

  • Develop re-opening strategy with enrollment numbers, division of grades, day to day operating strategies, teaching spaces, and afterschool activities
